Moving from Rebrandly

Import links from Rebrandly to cutty

Paste your API key and cutty fetches all your links from Rebrandly — destination URLs, slugs and titles. No manual copying.

Import links from Rebrandly Free account · no card · a few minutes

How it works

  1. Create a free account on cutty.dev (just an email address).
  2. In Rebrandly, copy your API key from the account settings (API keys section).
  3. In the cutty panel, click + import links from another shortener, choose Rebrandly, the Via API tab, and paste the key.
  4. In a moment you'll see a summary: how many links were added, how many were duplicates, and how many slugs were kept.

Prefer not to share the key? We'll also read a CSV file exported from Rebrandly — we detect the columns automatically.

What comes over, and what stays

  • Comes over: destination URL, slug (slashtag), title and creation date. Every link also gets the tag rebrandly, so it's easy to find.
  • Stays in Rebrandly: your own domain and click history. Old short links keep working as long as you keep them in Rebrandly.

Why people move to cutty

Rebrandly is great for branded domains, but a lot of features only start on paid plans. cutty's free plan gives you analytics without cookies, QR codes with your logo, tags and folders, country and device rules, A/B rotation, a public API and an MCP server for AI assistants. Our server is in the EU and we don't use ad pixels.

Frequently asked questions

Will my old Rebrandly short links stop working?

No. The import copies destination URLs, slugs and tags into your cutty account, and your Rebrandly account is left untouched. Old short links keep working for as long as Rebrandly keeps them online. You can start pointing new links to cutty.dev right away.

Will I keep my slugs?

Yes, if that slug is free on cutty.dev and is 3 to 40 characters (letters, digits, _ and -). Taken or invalid slugs get a new, random one — after the import you'll see how many.

What happens to my API key?

We use it only for this one-time link fetch. We don't store it in our database and it never reaches our logs. Prefer not to share it at all? A CSV export works just as well.

Links without tracking, hosted in the EU

cutty doesn't use ad pixels or tracking cookies. You get analytics, QR codes, tags, an API and an MCP server — on the free plan.
